I have made it for the use of people who have offered to help identify English, Scottish and Irish singers and musicians, locations and dates of recordings, so that Archivist Greg Johnson at Ole Miss University can correct and share the 'metadata'.
Then there can be a proper public launch of the Archive.

The quality of data varies so greatly. Sometimes there is only a title for the tape reel. Sometimes a date of recording is included, and/or a location.
Sometimes there is a proper listing of performer and titles, BUT these seem to have been done by Ole Miss students, striving to understand Goldstein's bad handwriting, on occasions failing and entering 'undecipherable'. Now and then the listing is not correct - a reel is in the wrong box?
Goldstein copied most of his 1959/60 recordings in Buchan to Tobar An Dualchais, and I have been able to rectify those listings, but I keep finding reels that KG did not copy to TAD, plus tracks recorded by him and copied to TAD that I have not [yet] found in the Ole Miss Archive.

I am working on the Scottish material, and there is strong interest in and commitment to action from ITMA for the Irish material. I have interest expressed in the English material.

WHAT IS IN THE ENGLISH MATERIAL
Recordings at English folk festivals and in folk clubs in I think about 1971.
Recordings made in the USA, mostly in Philadelphia either public performances for the Philadelphia Festival or more measured presentations for the Philadelphia Folksong Society, of visiting professional performers e.g. The Young Tradition, Dave & Toni Arthur, and US resident Louis Killen.
Copies from commercial LPs, national archives, and I think radio programmes.
Edited sequences for use by KG when lecturing. Etc.
